Sheeko, born in the barren prairies, spent his childhood amidst the harsh embrace of nature. In search of a better life, he migrated to Macau during a relentless drought. The journey of the protagonist takes on an almost epic dimension as he leaves behind the drought-stricken prairies, making his way to the coast to work in the salt extraction industry where he becomes reliant on the suffering of others. In a bid to escape this wretched destiny, Sheeko decides to become a sailor, navigating between ports, the company of prostitutes, and the depths of bars, surrendering himself to his passion for the challenges and beauty of the sea.
