From Baghdad to Istanbul (Arabic Book)

A distinctive graphic novel that conveys an image of the Middle East through the eyes of a Dutch journalist wandering between Turkey, Iraq and Syria. It is not specifically a political novel, but it is not devoid of politics, of course. The events of the novel are shrouded in tension and anticipation to see that dangerous and mysterious city: Baghdad.. But events lead us through unexpected paths to see some of the tragedies of this region, including dictatorship, sectarian/ethnic tension, and denial of these problems at the same time.
